Chiling waterfall is a great place to be visited for a day-trip vacation, especially for those who love fun, but dont like to 'enjoy' the trecking process. It is located in Kuala Kubu Baru, about 30minutes drive away from KL city. Early in the morning, we met up in the car park of Mc Donald, right beside IKEA. After some arrangement, most of the people park their car in Mc Donald and we car-pull to the destination. Without bordering the signboard of -- 'Parking for Customer Only'. Taking the risk of car-clamping by Mc Donald, we jumped onto YC's car and headed to our destination-- Chiling Waterfalls.
Look at the map! We are at the registration post. The map displays that we were going to cross several rivers before reached the final waterfalls. Well, this winding river doesn't look too difficult for us. These guys looked confidence and ready to take the challenges ahead, no matter what
Look at the water level! As mentioned by Mr Guard, the water level was pretty high. We might seen strong stream today!
Although the stream looked a bit firece today, these gentlemen still full of confidence and believe that they could handle the challenges easily. Look at them, still looked so relax. Allrite, I told you, I told you.. Can't be too confidence. Now they felt the real challenge. They had to cross the river with the help of sticks and ropes. Smiling and easiness faded from their faces. They started to look nervous.
After crossed the first river, here came the second cross. This time, the water level not only at your knee. The stream is far stronger and the water level is as high as your waste level. Allright, you might think I am bluffing. Look at these ppl, they didnt really bother of water splashing while snapping photo because they had got all wet already.
Have you seen how far have we came from? Crossing valleysss and riverss... they said we were close to the destination -- the Chilling Waterfalls. How was the journey? Well, pretty fun. Already got all wet before actually jump into the pond. Water every where...
Why are they so happy? Wondering? They must had seen something interesting in front.. Let's check it out..
Oh yeah!!! That's the Chilling waterfalls. Can you see how HUGE is this waterfalls? The height of a man is not even 10% of the height of the falling water.
Let's invite everybody to jump into the pond. Relaxing yourself after a tough, wet journey. Come on, It's time to relax yourself and enjoy the fruits of your hardwork.
Allrite, this is the fruit! Yeah! It is water melon! REAL WATER MELON!! You guess if I sale this with $10 per piece, would they buy? When you are exhausted and eager for fruit, money is not a matter, right? Luckily we are kind enough to share together FOC. Everyone refreshed after taste the sweet, fresh, aromatic water melon. Erm.. finger licking good!
Some enjoying the freezy water in the pond, some enjoying trumbling waterfalls, some enjoying posting to the camera, some waiting to jump into the pond after these 'part-time' models leave.
If you don't like the freezy water, It's okay, you can enjoy the mild wind, the cold breeze and the gentle sun shine. BTW, please be reminded that you should put on sun tan or sun block with >SPF50 to prevent getting burnt.
Look at these girls, they must be very enjoying in the gentle sun shine.
Chiling waterfalls is an interesting place for waterfall lovers. Dont worry about the river crossing and muddy road, you will sure forget about all this once you jump into the pond.
Last week is the biggest day for our Muslim friends. After one month of fasting, the long-waited Hari Raya finally arrived. Many of our friends suited in colorful and pretty Baju Malayu. Visiting each others and tasting great variety of finger foods are marvelous. I love especially Kueh Akok that naturally sweet and juicy; each and every bite would overwelmed us with fresh aroma of pandan leaves.
For some other races, Hari Raya is always the greatest time for a vacation or trip. My Singapore friends went to Mt Rinjani, Indonesia. They spent four days there. Hundreds of places were visited, Thousands of photoes were taken. They said forgot to invite me. Luckily they manage to share some of their photoes. And this is cruel enough to make my desire trembling unstopable. What a friend!
Anyway, although these guys are cruel, malicious, harsh and heartless; but the photoes really worth to see and the sceneries are marvelous. Taken from my friend's blog,

Hope you all enjoy these photoes as well. Cheers! |

This small reserved-forest is located in Gombak, a few minutes drive away from Batu Caves. From the centre of KL, you may only take 15minutes to reach here.[early morning & if no traffic jam]. The best time to start hiking is early in the morning, probably around 7am, while the mist still covering the waist of the mountain, leaving crystal-sparkling drops on the greeny pine leaves. Luckily, it is only a few minutes drive from my house, I can wake up at 6am and still manage to catch up for breakfast and a cup of coffee before we started our journey. After one round of warming up, we were ready for our Melawati Trip. Let's share some photoes along the way.
We parked our car in front of Klang Gate office. Took the staircase down to a small campsite. Along the way, we had to take off our shoes to cross a small river. Not really deep, the water level just enough to wet our knee, not even our thigh, so, no worry of have to trek in wet T-shirt. Anyway, it is not advisable to wear long pants. Sometime, you may need to do some 'acrobatic actions' to climb over some 90 degree rocks. You may have higher chance of tearing your pants if it is not strong enough.
We had to follow two huge pipeline before we get to the begining of the trail. These two pipeline carrying treated water from the Dam to houses of KL people, including each and everyone of us here. It is carefully guarded that we are not allowed to get any closer to the source of the water.
Tracking up this trail was unique. It is steep at the begining, probably about 80degree. I had never known that our hands and legs can be fully utilized like this, untill today. Pull, push, bend, extend, up, down, left, right... We were testing every single piece of our muscles to race against the gravity. After we dragged our exhausted bodies for about an hour, finally, fantastic scenery caught in view. Soreness, tireness, sweat, tears, all'd gone with the silky-soft breeze. WHAT A MARVELOUS SCENERY!!!
Of cause, we would not wasted the chance to snap a few more photoes with this mountain-lake-sky scenery. Sitting on the edge of a big rocks, we had taken the most valuable precious from here ---the enchanting photo and the sweet memory. Not for free ok, we changed them with our sweat and tear, maybe some blood-- when we scratched our knees. Let see which cameraman was more creative........
Last but not the least......the monkey king!!! This one taken by me..hehe
After enjoyed some aromatic-hot tea and watery-fresh water melon, we started to take a move down the mountain. Begins with the steep mountain, through the dry and bare rocks, finally landed in the shire and have our hot tea and water melon, refresh ourself in the land of Hobbits. Short trees, green carpet-mosses, sweet breeze...a land of tensionless, only with joy and happiness. Don't trust me? Look at this! The green scenery of the Shire~~~
Hopefully this reserved forest can be reserved always and let the people of KL experience the 'journey of the ring'.

Another semester just begin. We have already being flooded by tonnes of assignments and work load. Fuh...so tired!
This weekend is a 'ULTRA-PACKED' one. From Saturday morning 9am-9pm and Sunday Morning to evening again.
Some of us requested lecturer to understand our condition that we are just part time student who have our own task at work. Maybe due to overstress or misunderstanding, lecturer takes it as a 'complaint'. Oh my god, this is going to be another hard journey for us this semester.
Many years ago, we met a lecturer. In his first class, he already started to grumbling about too many students in the class, the facilities is bad, no parking lot for him, admin staffs not respect him, blah blah blah....
And he told us, we should either drop the class or meet him or another lecturer for the same subject in the next semester. (Which mean we will fail this semester). By end of the semester, as his wish, half of the class failed. I was lucky enough to cross over with my nose just 1mm above the water level, not yet lemas..
That time, we were complain and complain and complain... Bad words of the lecturer fly all over the place.
This time, similiar thing happened again. Same senario, same place, same victims. This time, the way we handle it is a bit difference. This lecturer let us know that we will be in trouble for her class. But we will learn from the process. She lets us to choose between to learn something, with not neccesary A or not to learn anything with an A.
The class has taken the first option. This time we never complain much. This time we really want to learn from her. I can see the people changed, from 1st semester 'kid-like' thinking to a more stereoscopic view. We can see the picture from the canopy-view. If you ask me, I would say, we are more mature this time.
Looking back and learn from the pass is always the toughest way to learn. We may not accept ourself who is really ourself that childish, dummy, non-sence and sometime, 'STUPID'.
I found some interesting element in the 'looking-back' learning process this time. If you ask me to choose from learning something, with not neccesary A or not to learn anything with an A. I would sincerely say:" Can I learn something with a pre-decided A?"
Yu called me today. Not a common practice for me to receive a call at 7am, when everyone else still hiding under the warmth of silky comforter. Not in a good mood, I shout-under-control to the phone. Through the other end of the phone, Yu tries to cool me down. He said, "Hey friend, easy, easy... I found a precioussss... here."
Yeah... He speaks like golumn. Heard the word 'precioussss...', my 'sleep-worm' imediately jumped off. My ears stand straight and my eyes roll bigger and bigger. "PRECIOUSSSS???"
"Yup, I found a DINOSAUR!!!" He continues...
"WHAT?? DINOSAUR???" I couldn't believe my ears and I though this guys must have shaked his head too much over the weekend. "Now, Stop non-sense and get back to your work!" Felt being cheated, I almost shut off the phone.
" HOLD!!.... Brother, hold your phone..!"
This guy must be looking for some kind of punishment or touchures.
"I found a DINOSAUR TORTOISE in my house this morning!!!!" He shouted out quick to prevent I slam the phone.
His seriousness triggle my interest. I rushed to his house, no bathing, no teeth-brushing. Just to see the 'DINASAUR' mensioned by him.
Well, let me share this with you guys. Yeah, a tortoise with 'dinosaur-like skin'. I do not know where this guy came from, but it looks weird! Perhaps he thinks his skin is so strong or he scares us too much, From the minute I saw him untill I left, this weird fellow hide under his shell without moving. If he does not move a little when we poked his hand with a small stick, we would have thought he has died.
Perhaps he is too old, perhaps he think his skin is thick, perhaps his look is too weird, perhaps he scare of sunlight...
Which one is BINGOOO??

I dont want to live in the planet of the Apes lah...
Today, I received a phone call from one of my closest friend-- Swee Yu.
Have not chit-chat with him for quite a long period. Quite a surprice to get his name blinking on my TFT screen again.
A very common question from him: ""what are you doing now?"
A very common answer, maybe sometime ago, from me: " Doing homework."
"What?" He responded in surprise, and perhaps a bit excited.
"I have not heard of this answer for many many years already." He smiles
Startled by his respond, I noticed that this sentence has not come out from my mouth for ages already.
It was once our daily-use words, when both of us were in the uni.
Many things has changed today. I am applying more softskill in stead of technical knowledge; Swee Yu has started to grow his business further, MSC has making his way to the multi-billionaire in the largest nation of the World.
Before I started to take my MBA class one year ago, too many questions were dancing in my mind. It is really difficult to make the first start. "What if..., What to do if...., if....."
A clear guidance from Stanley:" If you want to start, start it right now. you will never stop from having uncertaintiesssss; yesterday, today, tomorrow... If you dont start today, you are going to ask the same thing, over and over again. It will be a never ending story"
Today, I am still continuing my study. and now I am doing my mountain-high homework. Yeah.. as heavy as the biggest anchor. Although there would be a lot of incident inccur in the middle that halt your work progress for a while and still carry on after that. just like a ship that heading into a bay, it will automatically align itself before getting close to the port. Dont' know how I did that, but that's happening.
Of cause, a contigency plan, If I couldn't finish these homework. Maybe I shall tell the lecturer:" MY DOG ATE MY HOMEWORK!"
